Alloy wheel lacquer

Hi all

managed to refurbish one of my wheels by using Nitromorse a lot of hand polishing and some Halfords clear lacquer. Problem is i am not sure if the lacquer i used if the best one suitable. Anyone any suggestions the lacquer i used seemed to take a lifetime to dry.

Be carful with the Halfords lacquer, it doesn't appear to be very UV resistant and so goes off colour.

I know as I have one wheel going off colour slightly.

Try another brand from a local accessories shop. I think I used Car Plan or some thing and it not only resists UV better it's also about 1/3 of the price of Halfords.
