Alpine mp3 cd changer

Does anyone know if this will definitely replace my existing 6 cd changer in the boot, and work with COMAND 2.5 ?

I thought about the cassette adaptor to play mp3, but the wire on the adaptor would get stuck as the control buttons on COMAND 2.5 close upwards when a cassette is inserted and get jammed on the cable

It wont, you need a D2B fibre optic compatable CD changer - thats for the older system from about 1998/1999 in Europe

Im not sure that there is a D2B MP3 capable CDC, let us know if you find one

You could consider a Dension GW500 and an iPod ..
