Alpine s634 changer

Does anyone know if the Alpine s634 cd changer which is mp3 compatible will play mp3's in a random order as one of its play options. I intend to connect it to an Audio 10 cassette head unit.
I currently have a portabable dvd player in my car which doesn't and it annoys me that I only ever get to hear the same tracks at the beginning of the cd when doing short journeys when I have over 250 mp3 tracks on 1 disc.

The changer itself is able to do that, but depends if your headunit has the function! if not then you will need a new headunit to carry out the MIX function

The audio 10 may not drive the alpine changer either, my audio 10 has a different cd sgnal cable (I used to have the same changer from a previous car) I ended up selling the Alpine head unit and changer as the radio reception was pathetic in my w203 coupe, perfect in my old W168 - really missing mp3 at the moment
