Aluminum Dead Pedal?

Hi Guys,

Has anyone manged to find / fit a aluminum dead pedal on a W204?
I have a C63 which has all alumnium AMG logoed pedals but no dead pedal, just carpet and I dont want to wear it out etc.

Never seen one.

Try:

a. Not driving it
b. Not putting your foot on the floor.


Or

c. why worry about it?

lol because its only a year old, in A1 condition and like to keep it that way.
There are a few on ebay but most are LHD only

Yes. I made a paper template and transferred the image to a piece of plate aluminium and cut it to shape with a hacksaw. After filing the rough edges and corners I drilled a countersunk hole in each corner. Finally I dressed the surface with 400 grit wet and dry to give a brushed finish. It is screwed through the carpet and into the foam beneath. It has proved solid over the last 12 months. Quite why the factory doesn't fit a protective plastic inlay is beyond me.

If there isnt one, I might do one on CAD and see if I can get a quote for it to be made etc
