Yes, they would get chipped eventually.

But if my current lenses still look pretty good after the 5 years since it was born, I figure they'll look better than they do at the moment for at least 5 years

I was looking to take the car out today - but I woke up and it looks like it rained at some point or drizzled all night as the roads are all wet down here

May have to be tomorrow now. I'll have to assess things again when I get up tomorrow.
