Anyone know if this is genuine AMG (from the part #), or is it a standard W203 exhaust with a couple of chromed AMG tailpipes welded on?

If it's genuine, I quite fancy having a go for it

Its genuine, but for diesel models only, hence the tips pointing downwards.

I have fitted a Remus box on mine, lovely subtle sound, £250 fitted.

The seller states it will also fit a petrol model. The tips on my standard box point downwards. I think they do on most standard boxes across all models .

Whilst I obviously like the looks of the traditional 'square' AMG twin box, I was just wondering if this would actually physically fit a petrol model. Aesthetically, it looks quite pleasing........I like it .

I'm sure it would fit with maybe a bit of pipework modification. It's off a 3.0 AMG diesel, which was only available as a Sport Coupe so the input pipes might be a bit short.

I've had an auction pulled at the last minute because of that. Only once though as I now allow PP no problem.
But having to stand 3% of £500 is a bit much.

The C30 AMG was built as a Coupe, saloon and estate albeit in small numbers.

This exhaust is for the saloon/estate and should fit Alex's car fine. It is a work of art and made of a huge bore of tube.
