Finally after having these in my loft for almost a year I fitted them today. I had the morning off and figured may as well give it a try. Took just under an hour, 45 minutes for the first side and about 10 minutes for the other side. Simple when you know how :)

You can just about see the AMG rear bumper in the first picture. I will post some proper pictures & update the gallery properly when I finally get the front bumper on.

Result :bannana:, I'm really pleased with the way it looks. It doesn't look odd, I actually thought it may look weird without the front bumper...

A job well done :bannana:

Hello A-AvantGarde,

Car looks excellent with the side skirts, its on it way to look like a C32 AMG!.Is the rear apron the complete bumper or is it just the lower section?I am pretty sure it is the whole bumper... where did you get the side skirts from?I keeping looking on Ebay but they hardly ever come up!:(

Thanks guys! Yes the rear bumper is the complete bumper. I got really lucky and sourced a complete kit (minus front grilles and foglights) from ebay.de.

The shipping cost was horrendous as were the size of the boxes that arrived (much to wifey's surprise, as I hadn't mentioned it to her !!!). She was pretty relaxed about it though :-)

They are pretty rare on ebay, they come up occassionally. I had been searching since I got the car. There is a front bumper on ebay.co.uk at the moment but a complete set is pretty rare. I was even more lucky in that the side skirts were off a brilliant silver car so they just clipped straight on!

Just need to get my front bumper sprayed up (although that's also silver it's quite scratched).

Looks good :)

I've been looking out for W211 skirts for a good six to nine months now. In that time I've seen just two sets, one was black and another was one each in two different silvers. I can only justify it to myself if they come in the colour of my car (same as yours) and I can simply clip them on as you did. There was someone on the US forum who was looking for a straight swop for his AMG skirts against a standard set - but not being stateside that wasn't a whole lot of use to me!

If you only want the side skirts, on the W203 they're about £190 ex VAT per side. Can't imagine it being much different on a W211, they come pre-painted if you quote yor paint code. Not too bad really and very easy to fit.

Just gets expensive with the front & rear bumpers, foglights and exhaust etc...

The last time I checked, I'm sure the price was around £600. I did assume this was unpainted though. (Front and rear bumpers were fitted by previous owner of my car and I've fitted the exhaust)

I thought that they;re about this much too. I checked the part no's on the AMG side skirts I had on the MB parts website and they came back with the figure I quoted. Maybe it's just a W203 thing?

Fady, your car looks fantastic, although it does 'need' the side skirts ;)

Certainly worth checking if you have a part no:
