I'm looking at getting a mono amp and sub. The amp I want to get has two pre out conectors for RCA cables (in addition to the speaker outputs and head unit inputs) but I don't know what they would be for. Anyone know?

The RCA sockets on the Amp are used instead of the speaker inputs, if the head unit has got the correct output RCA's sockets, then it is just a matter of running a couple of leads and plugging them in.
