Hello gents !

My names Paul and I am here for a little help.

I am a member of "CRX-UK" and thus knew Mark Eley by way of the forum and his sound and ever helpful advice. RIP Mark.

I am aware that he used to be a moderator here and because of this, when a friend asked me for some help with his MB there seemed like no better place to go. Im currently scouring the search pages for assistance on some issues he has with his car but though it rude to not introduce myself first.

Thanks for letting me join and hopefully ill find what I need.

Regards

Paul

Welcome along Paul. :)

Mark (RIP) was a great bloke who'd always help others.

If you can't find the answers by searching, just ask away and I'm certain you'll get all the help you need. :thumb:

Paul.

Welcome to the forum Paul. :)

Hi Paul
Welcome to the forum

Thanks for the warm welcome gents,

My friends Merc had a nasty noise coming from what I thought was the auto box. I have scant knowledge of such things (I am used to manual crx boxes) but from reading the search pages I found that there are not that many failures of these boxes and most people have traced the noises to things like engine mounts and propshaft issues. He took it to a garage today and it turned out to be the cat. Sounded like a bag of bolts so Im quite surprised at the outcome.

Ill stay around here for a while - quite an interesting forum with lots of good info.

Cheers !

welcome paul
