I came across this unit recently. They claim it fully integrates with comand and effectively just screen replace.

This video is from Chris over on MBWorld. There is a long thread on it over there 10.25 inch android headunit installed - MBWorld.org Forums

It is getting closer to being worth buying. There is now a RHD adapter for both the W212 and W207's and the latest version that is being tested has 2Gb RAM in it which will make it far more usable than the current 1Gb version.

There are still a few things that may make people hold back, firstly very minor in that it does not deal with mph on the speed overlay yet (only kph) and it is on an older version of Android. Many of these Chinese devices never get core android updates so being on a reasonably up to date version as a starting position can be important. It does appear that Chris is working with his Chinese supplier to be able to do something around updates, although they may only be application updates rather than core Android updates.

Whilst it does integrate with all versions of the Mercedes audio (for Audio 20 to full command) there are some "fudges" which most won't be bothered about such as the use of the headphone jack for some audio, but some may not like. Some other features like the SIM card do not work outside of China, so you would need another solution such as a MIFI or tethering to get internet access to the head unit.

Have a read of the thread as there is lots of information and the pro's and con's involved to help people make up their minds as its not cheap, but cheaper that a Command upgrade for some to get to have functionality like Google Maps / Waze, Android Auto, Apple Carplay etc.
