When my sister was looking for a C coupe I noticed that on occasions the CLK was cheaper. So in the above case, it's a rather odd badge to stick on as it may devalue it

Ha, I missed the fact he had blanked the cars reg but it was clear as day reflected on the bonnet

Thought the other reg was another reflection, I wondered why it was the right way round but a yellow (rear) plate

It's quite common for the C Class to come mis-badged after bodyshop work - I've seen a number of W203's badged as CLK's. I was told by someone that when you order a badge for say a C220 CDI you actually get a CLK200 CDI badge, the fitter is supposed to remove the L & K and fit the rest using a template.

Incidentally my W203 came back from it's rust warranty repair badged as a C32 AMG when it's actually just a W203 C320 with AMG kit. I removed the badges as soon as I got home

I've seen a C220Ci badged as a CLK220 Kompressor.

Saw this extremely rare CLK M AMG today. Funnily though according to the DVLA it only has a 1.8 litre engine
