Another question

Sorry guys for the questions but have twice removed some dark and sticky from the engine cover which I assume could be oil (areas circled red in the pic)? Have anyone else had this issue ? The car had full service before taking possession and has something not been sealed properly ?

Probably just remnants of oil can or similar.

I have literally whipped the cover clean another time as something similar was on the cover so was wondering whether after the oil filter change it was sealed properly ? Took possession 3ish weeks ago and whipped something similar off after 1 week or so and not something more

Wouldn't of thought it's anything leaking due to the fact of where it is. Looks more like something dripping off the bonnet maybe??

thought so as well but doesn't seem to be anything at least to see from the top of the bonnet. I believe the oil filter is sitting fairly close to the area and was wondering whether this isn't sealed properly but any suggestion more than welcome.

You're not having a good day mate and know how you feel. Can't help with the oil thing and sorry about the damage to the car. Cars are great but sometimes.... They can be a real pain in the ass!
