Another Rusty W202!

Hi all

My 99 W202 C200 saloon has so far had the rear arches repaired but has just started to go at the bottom of the O/S rear door. I will get this repaired but what steps can I take to prevent further corrosion? Has anyone waxoiled their W202?

I guess the usual steps of washing the underside of the car and cleaning wheel arches regularly will help but does anyone have any further suggestions?

You could try a pre-facelift 202. Much better rust wise imho.

I don't want to chage the car as it has been in the family since new and I love it! Just want to try and keep the visits to the bodyshop to a minimum.......

Same here, about to get arches and a spot on the N/S rear door done and want to keep it sealed and avoid more repairs.

There must be some kind of wax/sealant that'll protect it?!
