Anti-McLaren / Pro Ferrari strip Lewis of win

We seem to be forgetting that Kovalainen was also given a drive through penalty for accidentally hitting Webber. This person is the McLaren number two driver and was fast making up positions and closing down on Massa.

If we agree with this drive through penalty then can we remember how Kimi rammed the innocent Force India car at Monaco? This incident deprived Force India of an amazing and unrepeatable result. It was a terrible mistake by the Ferrari driver but deemed a racing incident.

How could Kimi be given a drive through penalty for hitting the force india when he himself was out of the race ?

He could have been penalised by grid position in the next race - see Hamilton after Canada.

they'll probably chuck in a ten place grid penalty every time a McLaren qualifies on pole for the next three years as well

correction.

So blatant it hurts...rigged and fixed. If the FIA want to ruin F1 excitement, congratulations you're well on the way.

This penalty decision just underlines how unimportant actual racing is to the 'sport'.

This really is appauling now. It's so bias towards Ferrari it's not even real. There must be something higher in this sport that can (or should be able to adjudicate) in these situations. We need a kinda ombudsman group, perhaps the ceo's of each team to decide these issues.

How many times do these rulings have to go against anyone other than F to make people do something about it.

I'm surprised McLaren have not started their own championship. I'm sure other teams must see whats happening here but I guess as they are not usually affected (as it's always Mclaren) tat they just get on with it.

I really don't feel like watching it anymore...!!! Even though, as others have said, it was the best last few laps of this season so far.

Fuming:mad:

Best last three laps in recent memory (even the family who wandered in got hooked) - wasted because of Ferrari bias

This will test the psychological mettle of Hamilton.

Where's the rule as the sites are saying McClaren have the data to support an appeal

Just fuming!

"It is believed that although the British driver let Raikkonen back through to the lead of the race after rejoining the track, stewards still felt he had benefited from going off track as he repassed the Finn almost immediately.
McLaren has since said that its data showed that after lifting to let Raikkonen back through, Hamilton was 6kph slower than the Ferrari as they crossed the start/finish line."

Now this did occur to me that the fact he repassed R. soon after that this would be cited as proof of an advantage. However, I have a Phd in Physics and I know of no mathematics which would support this line of thinking(I won't flatter it by calling it logic). By this reasoning anyone behind at any point in any race has an unfair advantage!!!

According to the news, Mclaren are going to appeal the stupid idiotic bias unfair decision of the FerrariIA stewards.

Here is what Lewis has to say about it.
