Looks like a 114 only group! The meet link is only for members. Where is it?

No mate it's a mercedes group but a few of us have W114's & the link has been changed now. :thumb:

The meet is at a place called The Fishermans Cot which is a pub for some food & drink with some fellow car enthusiasts. :D

Address: Bickleigh, Tiverton, Devon EX16 8RW

That's a shame. I had an Estoril Blue '97 coupe back in 2000 for 18 months.

From a previous forum, someone looked me up to ask me about the car about a year ago as he bought it to return it back to how it was.

I emailed the other day to see how it was going but he sold it to a racing company on the south coast.

Better than being broken for spares I suppose!

Incredible cars and by far one of the best I've owned.

Which one did you have?

This was mine mate. :(

Same colour (the best colour IMO) - looks good.

You had it a lot more recently than I did then - I remember seeing the trend for non-standard amber lenses.

Certainly a lot lower ride height too and I spot the cheeky roll cage. These cars would make great track cars stripped out - especially having the standard LSD from the factory. I don't suppose they are cheap to run as one though!

I didn't have the cash to dik around with mine so left it standard (click on the pictures to enlarge):

It was one of the most reliable cars (ignore the title!).

Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong section guys but are there many members on here from the South West ?

A friend of mine has started a South West Benz on Facebook see here - https://www.facebook.com/groups/702915119784548/ :thumb:

The reason I'm posting this is that he is holding his first meet tomorrow here - https://www.facebook.com/events/645067812286674/?ref=4 & anyone is welcome.

Hope the links work for all go you that is if your on Facebook.

Thanks Ian
