Been battling a P0101 fault on my CLS350 CDI OM642 265hp, have cleaned MAF sensors, they appear to be reading ok, have changed filters, changed turbo seals, charge pipe seals etc… all data shows healthy boost levels and car is running perfectly. Just can’t get rid of this engine light so I would like to ask, does anyone near north tyneside have access to Star to double check my diagnostics? I see three options, I’m looking at the wrong thing, MAF adaptation may cure it or as it’s mapped perhaps the code needs deleting from the ECU…

Help a member out? I’d rather not have to pay dealer rates for what should be a simple check. Will come to you!

If you can’t get one Merc Solutions (Cramlington) or Staithes Garage(Dunston) are excellent independent specialists

Thanks, I’ll keep them in mind. Debating just ordering the icarsoft diagnostics and being able to do it myself..

Well not such a bad idea if you are running a merc, lets face it two visits to the stealers will mean the icarsoft will have paid for itself.

Icarsoft will pay for itself on first use.

Mercs dont like maps, too much interplay with modules.

Did you find out what the issue was?

I have the same fault.

It's great whan that happens. For me it was a cooling system pressuring kit. Identified leaks soonest.

And and impact driver, that connects to my compressor, that paid for itself in about 5 minutes changing the blade on my Husqvqarna tractor mower.

Worthwhile investments.

Oh, and 15€ on components to build my code reader for the 300-24. Solved a problem on day 1.
