thought I'd bring this thread up-to-date.... and thanks for the suggestions.
its jubilee week and the vito is CLEAN.
on sunday evening I was bored and decided to remove the loose crap with some cleaner I bought.
I filled a bucket and added the recommended dose of cleaner.... it really seemed to be not enough!!
I went to the vito that by now was VERY thick green and black with a good crop of Lichen.
I used a soft nylon broom (cos its easiest) and sloshed some cleaner over the vito..... the water went green then blackish but I continued.
with the vito covered in a quick splosh with no rubbing or work... I decided to rinse it off and redo it.
hose, hose, hose with sod all water pressure (the problem with ancient lead water pipes)
WHOA!!!! a ravenna yellow vito.... no black, no green, no lichen.
I really did not believe it.
the product is CARE-A-VAN caravan cleaner... no smell... no allergic reaction... no crap............. WOW!!!
