Hi,
I'm hoping someone on here can help me even if only a little.
My recently purchased S600 had a creaking noise from the back of the car which was pretty loud and irritating.
I've looked on the v12uberalles website and seen the articles on the nitrogen spheres and the struts being replacement to fix this issue. However today whilst I was cleaning/getting the little swirls out, I checked the PAS fluid which is linked with the ADS fluid and it was just below min so I topped it up with fluid. All this was done whilst the car was warm as it had been idleing for some time whilst I was cleaning it.
So once I had topped it up and checked it to ensure it was at the max line I went for a drive and low and behold the noise had almost totally gone, there was still a noise there but it sounded like a different noise sounded more like a suspension bush of some kind, great I thought. However after about a 15 minute drive of silence the noise came back again so I stopped at a petrol station assuming that I was loosing hydralic fluid and the level would be low and thus causing the noise. However the fluid was still at max.
Can anyone help me to understand why the noise would totally go for a short period of time after topping up the hydralic fluid? It doesn't appear to be loosing any but the noise has returned. Straight after I put the fluid in I could bounce the back of the car up and down as much as I could and it didn't make a sound now it's making the same old creaking noise?
What would be the first thing to get tested/replaced?
Thanks for any advice!
