Anybody else get a package from Porsche today?

Received a box today containing this very smart black/chrome Porsche branded 500 Mb USB disk ... containing a multimedia presentation on the new 911:

Rather a nice freebie, but I have no idea where they got my details from - and I'm certainly not in the market for a new 911!

Anybody else receive this?

Yep, but I bet it's a better system than nothing. It's still had the desired effect though - the advertising has got through to dozens of MB club members now! Quite effective really

Perhaps they looked at factors such as buying patterns (eg you bought a new MB recently), perhaps combined with owning multiple vehicles etc?

Well a Merc SL puts you closer to potential Porsche ownership than say a Dacia Logan! My bet is we will be seeing quite few Porsche 911 bargains in the next few months assuming the pound doesn't totally "crash dive " against the Euro!
Hypothetical I know, except for maybe a few " lucky" hedge fund investors!

they will have bough information from a data collection agency... It doesnt matter if youve never been near a porsche..they will be sending them to a whole list of people and they will have bought this data.. Probably anyone who has bought something expensive in the past and fits a certain demographic will be getting one..
