I've noticed the fitting service offered by ECP. Order your parts and book a local garage through them to fit. Seems very good value. Has anybody used it?

A friend used it today, £32 labour to fit rear pads to a 2019 3 series bmw, excellent service from the local garage.

Honestly, you are placing your faith in them to recommend a garage that they probably have the best potential of a mark-up on. You are just going to be paying a middle man on top. Do your own homework, due diligence etc. Find an independent yourself, possibly with recommendations from here. I’m confident the outcome will be better value for your money

Wrong again jobsworth, No mark up for anyone slim, he rang the garage direct to confirm the £ and paid them direct.

The garage in question have numerous splendid reviews online.

I used it for the front brake pads. I posted about it, it was miles cheaper than MB. My car has FSH by MB but pads via ECP fit portions
When choosing a fitter, check their reviews - the fitter's prices also vary between fitters. But do read their reviews as you will get the good and not so good and the rest is luck. I took the car in at the agreed time, they had the pads/sensor/etc, car done while I waited. 100% happy and saved over 200 quid compared to MB prices

More recently I had the rear pads done - I found a mobile mechanic with 100% feedback the cheapest, he got the parts

ECP fitting option is only for the basic bits from what I saw.

Good to hear. I have a choice, all around £25 to fit new spark plugs on the SL. That’s 16 plugs. One of the garages claims to be an MB specialist. Seems embarrassingly cheap to me. I feel like I should pay more or take a crate of beer.

Maybe we have all been shafted at high £ all these years?

My friend said the garage was rammed full of customers so clearly it works for them.

Nobody can do that job for that money.
