As above, what sort of drive is this and what time would a round trip take?

I know the area well, and have made the trip many times- from Scotland though. Coming off at Calais, it's a straightforward run along the e34, then up towards Bremen, Autobahn pretty much all the way. I used to leave about 8am and get to Calais about 2ish, making a few stops along the way. Its about 400 miles give or take. Watch the Autobahns around Bremen as they are straight and wide, but have speed limits.

Nice one, so calais to Hoya in a day? or could I get back to Calais?

Just a guy has some Mercedes vito parts I would like but I need to pick them up.

Calais to Hoya? easy. A round trip? It'd be a long day but do-able. I went from Zebrugge to Saarbrucken- Frankfurt- Gdansk in a day, but was a LONG day. 1038 miles in total. You can cover ground in Germany at a good average, if you don't get caught up in a Stau, Belgium less so and forget trying to "make progress" in France. I've done 400 mile days in the works Vito, and it's not a problem at all.

Nice one thanks for that.
Just had a transport company come back £120 to collect and deliver, so the jobs going to them!
