Hi All,
I’ve just driven a W123 Estate (300d – Turbo, no less!), for the first time. I went to see it in my 300d saloon, chalk and chees in terms of whoompf, obviously, but the difference in ride came as a surprise, the salon handled a lot better. That said it may be simply because I’m used to mine. Is the difference due to the chassis/weight or is that hydraulic suspension a big factor, the steering seemed quite a bit different as well. Is all this to be expected?
Thanks in advance – there might be a very nice 300d for sale soon.
Cheers,
Paul
