What does the jury make of this one on German ebay. Leather well worn and quiet a lot of rust in places you dont normally see too much trouble - has it had a crunch at some point and not been repaired perfectly?

I don't think there were any similar cars in RHD. Certainly no 500E's.

Look to pay 10 grand upwards for a similar car over here. Charles Ironside has many that pop up on pistonheads.

The wheels look too big IMO, I think Brabus wheels suit the car much better

The good thing about the tatty one on German E Bay is that it appears to have had the all important Engine Wiring Harness replaced (if my German is correct)....if they are left you run the risk of it shorting and frying the coil packs, wiring harness and ECU's.....£3750 to replace!

£4k for the tatty 500e in the end. I wonder if someone got a good deal or their fingers are about to be burnt when they start investigating the car?

Startech and Brabus are the same thing, I think Brabus started the Startech brand a lot later though.
