I have just bought a Silver Arrow SL today :bannana:, so my 4.3 V8 cabriolet will be up for sale soon if your interested.
I looked at that Black AMG to rich for my blood,
I also viewed last week a silver AMG CLK with 57k on clock........... I dug into MB servicing archive and it appeared that the 57k was incorrect as in 2004 it had covered 70K !
I calculated that the odometer difference could have been potentially out by 50k -80K (Good old MB servicing archives)

Not good up close micro blister, clocked, no history, some of the bits fitted weren't right, guy off to NZ so no come backs and he did not divulge in his ad the mileage discrepancy - naughty ( as he knew as I told him).
Also went round a corner and fed in the throttle then mid way through corner no power what appeared a limp mode. Stopped car restarted ad it seemed OK cold have been a sensor but could have been ££££££££££££££££££££.
Hence have bought a Silver Arrow SL this week instead, that's why the CLK W208 convertible is about to be put up for sale.
