Hello folks stupid question but need a howto to change the bulb in my ashtray and how do i get the dash out to change an indicator light bulb (mot failure) stealership done it and charged a fortune

I did this literally 2 days ago. What model and what transmission have you got?

dash out is a common q - you need two special hooks from MB and then just yank it out (gently....)

do a search...

ashtray - remove ashtray itself, underneath is often a single screw, this should allow the rest of the ashtray to come out...

I took out my whole ashtray/trinket tray and removed it from behind. Ah well, guess I got to know my car a bit better.
