I'm not sure whether I have an issue with Bluetooth in my new to me W204, My Lumia 800 windows phone connects to the bluetooth and I've made and received calls and it even reads text messages to me and I can reply via voice to text (not usre if thats the phone or the car!) however every now and then it seems as though the bluetooth disconnects and reconnects as it keeps popping up on screen that the phone is now connected. Has anyone else had this happen?

At least my wife has not complained with that same combination and she talks probably more at the car than drives it (talks all the time and often a while after the ride :D ).

Which MY car do you have? Perhaps the head unit needs a SW update?

Its a Sept 2009 car, I only noticed it a couple of days ago I kept noticing it flashing up every couple of minutes on one journey I did... lol.... Have there been any SW updates since then for it?

If there is a fault it will be under warranty. Best get it to the dealer to look at before the warranty expires.

Thats why i wanted to know if anyone had seen this before... I'll try a different phone or 2 to check its not the bluetooth on my phone.... will also try my phone in the Mrs' car.....

It's certainly worth trying a different phone, and also checking to see if there's an update for the Lumia's firmware. A couple of years ago I had some very odd Bluetooth connectivity problems with a Nokia E72 in my C-Class, while my previous (Nokia) phone had worked perfectly. All was cured when the next Nokia firmware update was applied whereupon the E72 performed flawlessly.

I had a browse through the engineering screens last night..... can anyone tell me from the pics below if there is a software\firmware update for it? and can anyone tell me if the Bluetooth settings are correct?

I have the same problem with the new Audio 20 devices for the new B-Class, and also the facelifted GLK together with my Samsung Galaxy S2. It's disconnect and reconnect constantly.
When connecting to any other car, and also the MB COMAND system it all works fine. This issue came after updating the Android system to ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) :(
