Audio through iPhone

Hi,

I have a 2010 B180 Sport with a Audio 50 unit. Ive connected my phone via bluetooth and therefore can take and make calls, but how do I play music from my phone through the sound system? I do have a iPhone connection in the glovebox and when my phone is connected, it charges.

Please help, Im missing something!

The bluetooth system does not support music over bluetooth. But it seems you have the Media Interface (rectangular connector in glovebox), and so you can add one of these to add Bluetooth audio streaming (and track name, playlists etc transfer)

I've been using one for over a year and the clarity is excellent, very impressed for the money.

BTW, if the question is "how to use the iPod when its plugged into that large connector" the answer is select Audio and then Media Interface

The tune2air makes that bit work over bluetooth

hi i have a 53 e 270 i have the ipod plugs in the center consol when i plug my ipod in nothing happens no sound can any one help

Scratch that - Calls work fine with the August unit.
