Augmented Reality and Front Camera!

When I bought my GLB it was delivered minus the Augmented Reality Software, apart from allowing the purchase of the built in Dashcam the AR Update activated the front camera!

When appraoching a junction whilst navigating the front camera activates and shows quite clear directions as to where to turn!

If the front camera is now active, why on earth are we being asked to shell out £200 for the built in Dashcam when is must be there but for the flick of a switch??? ;(

Because they can, its the same with some of the services available with MercedesMe which are chargeable after the first 3 years.
