Had a few hours to spare yesterday so decided to start my spring clean. Washed with Autoglym shampoo and dried with microfibres towels. Next step was to clay the car all over followed with Autoglym SRP. Next step was to be a coat of HD wax but running out of time I cleaned the rims with Poorboys rim sealer and used Megairs Endurance tire gel to finish the job.
This morning woke to a wet but well beaded car. After a rinse off and dry I used Autoglym rapid detailed to clean things up.
There are a number of small marks that require correcting prior to the wax coat. These area job for my next session as priority today is to clear space in the garage so when the jobs done the car will keep clean.
You will notice that the car is sitting low. It has airmatic I set I it to high when washing so I can get into the arches. On high I have about 3-4 inches above the wheels to the arches. It's now parked up in Sport+ which really drops the car but makes polishing the roof much easier.

Sorry have not got the hang of adding pictures.

What's the difference in height between eg Comfort mode vs Sports+ any idea?

I seem to remember from reading the brochure that it's only about 10 mm lower in Sport or Sport+ than in Comfort or Economy. The raise height likewise is about 10mm. What I do know that on my drive the Sport+ loses the car so much that the top of the tyres are covered by the wheel arch. In high setting I can easily rest my hand on top of the tyre with my palm at right angles to the tyre and clear the wheel arch. This is about 12 making overall range about 14cm. This range seems at odds with the few mm that I remember reading about.

Just found my old price brochure. Page 25 says airmatic can raise car by 25mm and at speed ( or Sport / Sport+) it automatically lowers by 15mm to help aero. This 40mm range does not explain my observation of 124-140mm range when static.
One feature of airmatic is a graphic in the vehicle settings that shows among other dynamics ride height. In Economy or Comfort on the motorway you see the ride height graphic decrease as you approach 70ish and rise again as you slow down. Additionally the graphic for each damper changes the number of orange rings to show how inflated it is. These rings constantly change showing which wheel is absorbing bumps as you pass over bumps.

Not sure that my C43 has Airmatic as assume this is an option which I didn't select when ordering or is it standard on AMG models? Or perhaps its now incorporated into the Dynamic Select function and automatically comes into play when selecting particular gears?

DRiver200 I believe that airmatic is standard on the plug in hybrid and an option on SE Sport and AMG lines. My 2016 price list does not show it as an option for the C63 AMG. AMG standard equipment lists AMG ride control sports suspension.
My paper handbook details airmatic on pages 220&221. AMG ride control is on page 222. From my reading the AMG ride control the system firms up the dampers in Sport and Sport+. Spot+ is only advised for a race track. The system is selected by a selection button on the central console or with the dynamic switch. The system defaults to Comfort after 4 hours.
