I wouldn't trust what the label says, the 5G and 7G use different oils. 236.14 is ok for the 5G, the 7G uses 236.15.

That’s only the later 7g’s with blue atf
. 236.14 red ATF is correct for both my 5g CLK and 7g E320cdi (both 2009)

I may be wrong, but I thought the blue fluid was mainly for stop start cars?

just found this, looks like my new one will be 236.15.
looks like mine is the "plus"

The difference between a Mercedes 7G Tronic and a Mercedes 7G Tronic Plus

Introduced in the fall of 2010, the Mercedes 722.9 7G Tronic Plus transmission was the next evolution of the marque’s 7-speed automatic transmission. The idea was to improve the transmission’s design, so this could better withstand the torque of more modern turbocharged engines. As well as be compatible with engine start/stop systems. A number of small improvements were made to the Mercedes 7G Tronic Plus 722.9 transmission. But the biggest improvement was a new 722.9 torque converter that featured a unique damping system that can better handle the torque and vibration better than the previous generation.

ok didn't know that, so what about the 2012 C204 im picking up tomorrow with the 7G on it ?
I believe 2010 was the upgrade year blue fluid after then. On my SL you can tell easily, older model 7g has a dipstick, later models (blue fluid) have no dipstick.possibly same on all cars?

i won't be using that, it'll be turned off permanently, never liked that idea :(
Are you having it coded out? Otherwise it resets every time the engine starts 🤬
