Average yearly mileage

I always thought it averaged out at circa 10k across the board but it appears its now 12k but rising relating to size of car and wether diesel or petrol.

My average has always been far more than that...
I love driving so I do lots of it for the sheer joy of driving..
Last year my mileage was circa 25k (Combined Work and pleasure).

Its difficult to define a persons mileage these days with having multiple vehicles to drive and those same vehicles driven by other people.I used to cover 1000 miles a week (Taxi driver) now thats prob 3/400 in my taxi minibus and less than 100 miles per week in car.

Using my own car normally weekends around 2,000 to 3,000 miles per year,company car C220 CDI 20-25,000 miles per year combo business and private.

About 12K here now I work at home, was close to 20K before when I had business premises elsewhere.
