B pillar patch, W211

Hi,

I've recently bought a particularly nice E320CDI. My first Mercedes and I couldn't be happier with it.....

The car has 62,000, but the B pillar is already worn through, clearly from rubbing on the way in and out of the car. The photo does look particularly grubby but I promise the rest of the car is very clean!!!

I wondered if anyone could recommend a patch or similar, replacing the whole panel is probably not worth it (I'd guess) but just to stop it getting worse??

The part for my post-facelift estate with black interior is A211 690 32 54 7K90, and Inchcape want £93 for a new one.

speak to acid - he has loads of bits and pieces - or a mb breaker - many advertise on fleabay

As above have a look on ebay for someone breaking one there are normally a few on there.
