Bang Bang changes, 722.6 gearbox

In stop/start traffic the changes are bang bang if I get off the throttle and then back on very quickly. What's wrong, please??

Has it always been like that or just started to happen?

have you checked the ATF (automatic gearbox fluid) level?

id start with ATF as suggested, first stop would be a good indi before you do any permy damage if not done already!

I agree with the prop couplings/'flex discs'. Common fault on nearly all MBs, most noticable when backing on/off or on downshifts.

Could be a worn diff, but I think the couplings would let go well before then.

Jack it up, and have a looksee. Turn the prop back/forth by hand and see where the play is.
