Becker map update

Hi all,my Becker map went of 2 days ago,I think it need updates,I got a message to contact Mercedes be No for update and it went off .
Thinking update or buy the car pay one that look like Becker online.After the message it says no connection over 3days now.U saw a website online for free updates through you tube but am not sure if the download if good for my laptop or not.Not want to put bad downloads on.

Remove the Becker Map Pilot unit from the car, and connect it to your computer using Mini-USB cable (which is not the same as the more common Micro-USB cable).

Download the software from here:

Harman Becker Shop

Once the software is installed and connected, create an account online and register your device.

Next update the navigation software on the device.

You will then be able to purchase and download the latest maps data.
