belt changed

Hi everyone, I've just had the main serpentine belt changed on my 2002 C203 C class coupe and the mechanic said that the tensioner was fine. Unfortunately it sounds like the belt is slipping. Is there anything I can do or will it bed in? thanks for any advice you can give.

Are you sure there is not a problem with the alternator clutch pulley???

Hi, the mechanic who fitted the belt said all the pulleys were ok

Standard maintenance practice is to change the tensioner and idler pulley when replacing the serpentine belt, then good for another 100 000 miles.
