I am hoping someone might know or could help.. I have a 2011 S350 Bluetec which has the Harman Kardon amp / sound system. All the symptoms pointed towards that failing – device unavailable on the screen when trying AUX and radio, navigation works but CD's do not want to play either. I have a fibre loop and looped all components but this made no difference.
The amp model in question is BEM005 (A2219008103ZGS) so I purchased a second hand replacement, unfortunately still no audio and same symptoms. A positive thing however since changing the amp is the orange light from the system board is now showing, whereas the old one did not.
