Or a small plastic box with lid, (like a Chinese takeaway one), drill holes in top, half fill with washing powder. Pop it under your seat.
It acts as a dehumidifier, and your car smells laundry fresh.

Change the powder when it cakes (throw it in the washer).

just tried this but only had liquid fabric softener that smells great! Will see if it works thanks fir the tip!

just had a further thought while on this smelly topic.it depends a lot on how hard you’re making the air freshener work. My mrs has a mini she drives 3 miles a week, it has a jelly belly that smells like it’s out of the packet after 2 months. In mine I’m eating fast food, sometimes (but rarely) the odd fag, lots of vaping and I find jelly bellies will last 2 weeks tops. So I wonder if there are optimum fresheners for different uses. The fast food freshener or body odour buster for gym goers?

That’ll smell nice, but won’t dehumidify as it’s a liquid. Washing powder is hygroscopic, (attracts moisture)

Cheap as chips.
