Hoping to place an order soon but can't decide on the colour. Quite like diamond white but not sure if this is the right colour for a Merc. I've had several silver cars and so really want a change. Any suggestions for the best colour combination?

I personally think the lighter colours suit the car and show the lines better. Silver looks good, if you go for white then you have to go for the pano roof. If you want something different then have a look at the tenorite grey like this cab

Go for white - it looks stunning on the right car. By buying new, you have the chance to change direction from the rest of the flock! Silver and grey are just so common and, frankly, boring. Yes, I know my car's silver!

Paint colour is important of course, for me a Merc should be silver but perhaps even more important is the interior colour. This is what you see 90% of the time and can transform one's impression of the car. Black is very practical but soooo boring and drab. Flamenco Red look wonderful with Silver.
Go Designo and a world of choice opens! ;)

I saw a few white ones in Russia and they were stunning! Especially with the black pano roof... :)

White only !!! :d

Thanks for all your comments. It seems as though white is the way to go, probably with the Flamenco Red interior.

I think black looks nice as well, although doesn't show the lines as well.

not flat white but diamond white or designo mystic white

My Saloon is black and was always going to be black. The coupe however looks excellent in white or black.

Ye Diamond White and Red leather, get the 19ins Amg's

I still can't decide on a colour. I've seen a few in Diamond White now and am very unsure about this colour. In photos it looks great, but in reality it is a very 'creamy' white and not really very metallic either. You can only just make out the flakes in direct sunlight. I saw one parked next to Calcite White the other day and to be honest I couldn't tell the difference. They are both a lot less 'white' than say Audi or BMW.

However, I also saw a coupe in Designo Mauritius Blue, which I thought looked stunning.

Apart from the extra cost, (about £1,800!) this is a very un-Mercedes like colour, although I thought it really suited the car.

It would be very rare in this colour or do you think it would be better to stick to a standard colour?

I've attached a couple of pictures:

The blue is not very nice. White, silver, grey or black is nicer.
