Best oil for W210 1999 E220 CDI

Just wondering what the best oil for the E220 CDI is.

Im considering Mobil 1 0w-30 is that okay or perhaps too thin for a CDI

i would say fuchs 5w-40 fully synthetic,i bought at shop called autoparts £22.00 for 4 litres ,if interested you can ring 01924 494004 they take card and also post.

Yep, too thin. It won't protect properly.
