Need To remove one of the pipes to the Petrol Fuel Injection Rail on the C240 (M112) I Know you can releive by loosening the filter Banjo band by starting with no fuel pump fuse But as the engine is as below and is not up on ramps is there a "proper" way with a more controlled and safer fuel ejection by way of using the Nut at the front of the Fuel Rail at the other side ???
See picture below

I could just gradually release the Offending Nut / Pipe with a rag round it
(its the pipe at the rear of the valve cover below ) the pipe is just obstructing removal of the valve cover for regasketting

Answering my own post as impatience got the better of me :D I undid the Bolt and there is a schrader type valve which I pressed in and no fuel came out  i presume because the car was last run on Friday 2-3 days ago that the residual pressure has "leaked down " I then undid the nut at the rear which emptied all the fuel from the fuel rails as a dribble
Valve cover off now and its in a hell of a state ( its the Oil Filler side ) lot of gunge up in the crevices of the covers.
