Hi could anyone point me in the best direction for a big power upgrade on my cls 55. In the past I have used DMS for my Porsche turbos and a Ferrari. I'm in Cheshire but don't mind travelling for the right place. Thanks in advance guys.

There is plenty of info on this forum. I assume you have read through ChrisA's thread?

I guess as you're based in Cheshire it would be best if you spoke with Acid at MSL in Birmingham. He really knows his stuff and deals with Eurocharged and Weistec.

Cheshire? Perfect for a short blast down the M6 to Acid's place to have the Weistec supercharger fitted :bannana:

Thanks guys thought that May be the case I'll give Acid a call on Monday to get some figures

Really depends on your budget, and what you mean by big power, if you let us know we can provide some guidance, but will say before considering any mods ensure your car is running 100% and well serviced, this alone can set you back a fair amount.

Thanks Billy I'll be sure to get it checked out before I start. I have full dealer service history for what it's worth and it's got 40k on an 06 plate.
I'm looking for around the 700bhp but having read some of the threads I think I'll be having plenty of discussions with who ever does the work about cooling !!!
Budget wise I'll look at what is advised first but as I've always been told it's usually cheaper just to buy a faster ( more powerful ) car.
I hope that is not the case this time ha !

You need a Weistec charger and plenty more.

Speak to Acid, top fella.

Thanks lads for the responses. The more I read the more I realise it will be slightly harder than some of my other cars I've modified .
However I bought it to modify it so onwards and upwards

You have to decide early on how much you are prepared to spend on the car.

If you are waiting a few months a few more options will open up and give you an idea on costs :)

BFT thanks for the input , I can wait if there are new options on the horizon ? It gives me time for research and get guesstimates for the work.
I won't say budget isn't an issue as every other car I've modded along this route has snowballed way past my original quotes !

Yes I always agree if you want a fast car then buy one to start with, always worked on that basis, anyway 1st things for 700BHP, I know Acid is itching to do the weistec 55 Weistec Engineering - Products - M113K Supercharger

I would also go for the upgraded pistons Weistec Engineering - Products - M113K Forged Pistons, as I have seen blocks and pistons that have gone, and its not a pretty sight, oil separator and larger heat exchanger, but if you give Acid a ring, I am sure he will go through everything, the other thing is to consider a rear diff if you don't already have one, most have been fitting Quaife, but I would seriously look at the wavetrac diff, as for the road, they seems to be rated higher.

You will have a great car all said and done, so enjoy whatever path you take.

Thanks Billy for your advice , I have spoken to Acid today and am excited about what can be done

Just get it done and join the Weistec club.......It comes with a lifetime guarantee of smiles and statements like Holy F***K when you plant your right foot :)

Lee that's what I'm after ha

You wont be disappointed the Weistec kit is quality, and you will get great support from Acid and the team at MSL:thumb:
