Bloody clampers

I think that stretch of road was on a re-run of fifth gear lastnight. It was the episode about clamping and the diesl vs petrol head to head.

Seems like the most clamped place on earth!

Clampers are scum.

Banned in Scotland possibly?

Where is angle grinder man - superhero extra ordinaire - and bane of all clampers. He used to have a blog but sadly no more.

everybody but the DVLA cannot clamp in scotland.

Instead they just tow your car away :(

Lets see them tow a G Guard level 7 away tho :) kinda weighs more than the 3.8 tonnes on their arm :)

Your right their Fuzzer!!!!
Trust me folks when i say you'd rather have your car clamped, i've seen too many cars lifted on to the back of lorry's with the chains banging so hard against them the alarms are sounding, just last week in Glasgow i watched a 57 plate range rover sport being up-lifted in a truly alarming manor, i said to the operator about his conduct and the damage he was causing and he simply told me "the rich **** should have parked somewhere else then should'nt he" wich is a fair point point but if it was my car i would probably be sending this reply from prison for ringing the scrawney ****'s head. :bannana:

true but hard to see when the signs are in small print, and when you go to read them, you are sneakily clamped by the guy from the side.
just be like me and use paid or manned parking .

They are really horrible people. The tow truck gets used as a cash generator rather than keeping the traffic moving. Too many times i see cars in the middle of nowhere being towed because they make a few quid doing it. As if thats not bad enough , still got a parking ticket to pay too.

I thought they were all working for you :D

I have discovered a really good way of avoiding parking tickets and clampers.

Don't park like a t**t and pay attention to what the signs say

No, not all work for me  :D

Actually, we as an authority don't clamp in Peterborough (for parking, but we do for non-tax etc) but would I ever park in a bit of rough ground which looks like it might be a car park? No! Full-on NCP or Euro Car Parks or local-authority run each time for me; I'm also a little bit sad in that I check on a .gov.uk website for any area I'm visiting to get the low down on parking, but that may be a little geeky :o
