Bonnet high drivers side

As above when closed the end of the bonnet on driver's side by the lights sits up a fraction. I can push it down but it spring s back up. Before messing it up I thought I would ask for any pointers please. Thanks

Just opened and closed the bonnet again and this time everything is aligned. The latch moved freely enough but I think I will lubricate for good measure.

I had this same problem recently. I lubricated the catch and adjusted the hook on the bonnet and all working fine now

Did you use greaae or something like wd40

I just used wd40 and wiggled the catch until it was nice and smooth but I had to adjust the hook on the underside of the bonnet too before it would shut properly. Goodness knows how the previous owner managed to shut it, they must have really slammed it hard!

Thank you. The springs do get covered in grime which restricts movement!
