Bonnet star

Hi guys I'm pretty new to all of this and not the most techie person in the world. I have a 2015 e250cdi amg sport and was wondering if it was possible to get a bonnet star for it as I like the traditional look. There's a few on e bay but they are saying they don't fit my model. Any ideas?

Clicking the compatability tab shows this one fits a 2015 E class. It's an OEM badge too so won't fall apart like the chinese copies.
The company supplying these need your Vin# to confirm the part will fit so that is insurance against getting a part that has to be returned.

These aren’t expensive from MB directly... would suggest just visiting your local dealer

Thats fine if you have a blanking plug on the top to remove to put the new star in to .

Thanks for your reply optimus prime. Blanking plug? All that's on the bonnet at the moment is the standard circular mercedes disk which is 50 odd millimetres in diameter. All the star badges seem to be 44 mil. Theres probably a recess in which it slots into but what seems to be the pain with my model is that the bonnet isn't flat as such it has a slight raised line down the middle of the bonnet. You must be able to get them however as I've seen mercs of my model with them

If i was you i would look in to the fully retractable star that goes in to the bonnet out of sight of thieving hands ..

OP. Just be conscious of which grill you currently "sport" - as the bonnet mascot and front grill combination can look strange on some cars.

Be aware that altho many MB emblems are a simple bayonnet type fitting in the bonnet cutout hole for that precise purpose.----But---some recent models have just an indent and the flat badge is glued on! Check that with the bonnet open the present flat badge is the exchangeable type held in with spring loaded clips and not the glue on type with no corresponding bonnet hole
