Boot catch

My boot opening catch does not spring back when I use it. Feels like a spring has jumped off

Anybody else had this ?

If you are on about the little plastic cover over the latch itself. They have a tendency to either fall off or snap

And knowing mercedes you cant get them on their own

I just don't want to strip the boot apart and find out I cannot fix it or require a part
