Now various and sundry
I wonder if anyone knows the Brabus CL which has appeared on Evilbay, low miles high price but good reg number. Dare I ask -is it "worth"it?

I reckon someone will buy that just for the plate (V12 UFO). Then sell the car

I keep asking myself how those cars are valued, on what basics? For me its a cl600 with few Brabus bits. Ridiculous money. Will someone pay it? That would be like 10K profit he he Also there is another one there F1 edition for 35K ?!?! Insane by me On www.mobile.de there was that s500 on w220 chassis , proper Brabus 5.8 engine with all upgrades for 20K euros......which I would pay but those on evilbay never

Looks a bit rough to me; all I see are Brabus wheels, front bumper maybe and "Twin Triple pipe Brabus exhausts" whatever they are.

Could buy a CL65 for less than he wants.

a CL600 biturbo with a good remap would do the trick. that price is sky high , way too ambitious to me. a private plate is only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it, wouldn't want it or the car at anything near that price !

I'm not even sure if value that plate at much more than £500 as well, there are thousands of 'V12 ...' plates for sale at less than £400 on the dvla site.

Pre facelift car with the M137 engine...ticking time bomb. Wouldn't touch that car at anything over £2000 personally.

Agreed. I just watched 2 CL600 Bi Turbo's sell for between £4k and £5.5k. And one had the eurocharged treatment too and sold for just over £4k. Both had no issues with suspension or engine and complete service history to match.

The M275 bi turbo is all the car anyone could ever need. Where did you see those cars, on eBay?

Yes. The eurocharged one was silver and mapped to something silly bhp. However the car had a small (genuinely, not exaggerated) scrape on passenger side rear quarter. It sold for £4.?k. The second was an Almadine Black bi turbo. It had all the goodies and coil packs done etc. it sold for £5k and that was on the second listing. From my observations the CL600 bi turbo is worth about £5k tips as that's what people are buying them at. I'm very tempted but I just don't have the guts to pull the trigger. Bargain compared to CL55k and faster too (in my opinion).

They are definitely faster in stock form. After a remap They should be even further apart but I can't say that from experience.

Found the pair on ebay sold listings and they both look great. Almandine black is one of the best MB colours of the last 20 years.

Somebody got a bargain when they bought one of those. Dammmmn. I will hold out for a CL55k purely because parts are more readily available. But I still look at least eleventeen times a day for a 600.

They'll always be chances to own good V8s. V12s on the other hand...better do it now or you'll never tick it off your bucket list.

Bargain CL600 BiTurbo on eBay right now.

£5k. Wow. I still don't have the guts to pull the trigger. Hopefully there are braver men than me on the forum. Looks nice.

Something very strange going here. Now advertised at £12k by another eBay user. How strange ......

I would suggest the seller listing the car at 5k is not genuine - No phone number and zero feedback. Looks like he simply copied the genuine vendors advert - Buyer be very aware.

The 5k listing was made before the 12k listing. Hmmmmm.
