I have a genuine Brabus D3S Eco powerxtra power upgrade kit for a W204 C220CDi. OM646 engine (i.e. pre Blue Efficiency W204). Part number 204-733S-00.
This takes the standard power from 170bhp, to 220bhp. More importantly it increases torque over a wide RPM band, giving a maximum increase of 80Nm.
This kit is very simple to fit, and can be done DIY ( I have the Brabus instructions with it), and the procedure is to add an additional wiring loom to certain parts of the engine (Injectors, fuel rail pressure sender, etc etc.) this loom is then plugged into the power module. The Brabus kit comes complete with Ecopower box, professional (OEM quality) Delphi loom, and a Brabus injector drive module (IDM).
Nice thing about this kit, is being a Brabus made item, it was made in conjunction with MB, so can be trusted, and being a plug in, can be removed at any time. It is also unaffected by software updates done by MB, unlike a re-map.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work with my new car (OM651 engine)
