Brake wear message

Hi all, C200 W203 2006

I changed my brake pads front and rear but the new set didn't have a sensor wired in, whereas one of the pads on the front that I removed did have. Since then I have had a brake wear message up.
Is there a trick to fool the sensor wiring into thinking it has one fitted so the message will go away, or do I have to replace the one pad with the wiring? Thanks for any advice.

I think you need to replace the sensors too,approx £6 each from mb i think
