Yes, and just perhaps the Cyber Truck is perfectly rational and good looking vehicle....Perhaps they ARE triangles if you are using non-euclidean geometry.
Just sayin’

But I admire what Elon Musk achieved (a massive kick up the back side of several 100+ years old automotive giants) and I wish him and Tesla all the success in the world - they deserve it.
He might be a 'genius' but not to sure if he has a viable plan for Tesla cars.
The Bermuda Triangle is a 0.5 to 1.5 million square mile region of the North Atlantic bounded by Bermuda, Puerto Rico and Miami.I would just like to point out that the area on the windscreen or a product of Dairylea, can not legally be described as a triangle with one side formed by the arc of a radius.
Now, the area around Bermuda has every right to call itself the triangle of doom....
Oh I don’t know, the word “doom” just doesn’t seem to fit with there being water droplets on the extremities of the windscreen. Until you explained that it was a comedic term I wrongly assumed “doom” meant death, destruction or some other terrible fate.Sensationalist term? What are you on about. If anything it is a comedic term used to describe the unswept screen area due to poor windscreen wiper design.
I don’t like to make assumptions because they are often wrong, however because your comment was a reply to me then I think that you are suggesting that I might be an EV evangelist and Musk fan boi.Par for the course that the EV evangelists who consider anything Musk related to be beyond reproach get defensive.
If I remember right the field of vision is defined as an area of specific dimensions ahead of the driver and above the steering wheel.Note how this UK-spec RHD car still has LHD wipers:
No idea how Renault got away with this 'penny pinching' idea, it should have been illegal for them to do that.
Having watched some of the video, I don’t think it’s metallic fallout, it looks too big for that but the video doesn’t get too close (or at least the bit I watched didn’t).It’s quite common on cars from several manufacturers, especially when transported by rail. If that’s what it is then it’s easily sorted.
Most likely because it’s a non-issue but YouTubers/Newspapers will milk the ‘click bait’.the video doesn’t get too close
I'm sure there's an element of sensationalism and click bait to the story. Whether it's a real issue or not, I don't know as I don't have enough information to make a judgement, BUT...Most likely because it’s a non-issue but YouTubers/Newspapers will milk the ‘click bait’.
Tesla is there to serve Musk's vanity, no more no less. When the time comes he will chuck it under the bus without a second thought to the shareholders, the workers or the customers....

You mean unlike every other mega-corporation in America.....? I.e., all the others are led my charitable, kind, compassionate, selfless and ego-less people, who will never put their own needs and wants ahead of those of shareholders, the workers or the customers, right.....?
Now, now.... careful ! There's someone not too far away who sold his very expensive G55 partly because of its fuel consumption ( 15mpg )Here's another:
Oops... it's a Mercedes-Benz.... of course it's not irrational, big, or ugly.... no, it's a must-have for navigating the streets and mews behind the Dorchester.....

I agree his vision got it where it is today but I think some other more grounded visionary should take the reins and let him poodle off to play with his rockets.
He wouldn't be looking quite so smug in his leather strides if he was trying to get that into the short-term parking at Gatwick. Here's another:

Yes, a pedestrian is likely to come off second best if hit by that thing, but my own observation is that there are far fewer pedestrians than drivers in the States. They seem to get in the car just to go somewhere, well...just across the road. One thing that is certain is that due to the design of the front end we'll never see them sold in Europe as there isn't a cat in hell's chance of them passing Euro crash reg's, in particular those relating to pedestrian impact.
