Since buying used parts is another viable option for many items , I thought it might be useful to post up Mercedes cars breaking in some of the yards near me .

These are just what I've seen over the last couple of weeks , there are many more yards roundabout which I have not visited lately .
Clydebank Dismantlers , New Albion Ind Est , Halley St Yoker ,
W126 500SEL - almost stripped but still has low mileage engine
W126 500SE - recently in , v rusty but good grey leather elec heated interior - 15 hole alloys
W126 300SE - recently in , good burr walnut / mushroom leather , front seats badly worn - 15 hole alloys
W124 260E - looks fair , still complete - 8 hole alloys
W124 coupe - been there for years - rotten
W210 saloon
W202 - several saloons + at least one estate ( 250 turbodiesel )
Barry Devlin , Knockentiber , near Kilmarnock
W202 C180 , just in , still complete
W202 C180 , in stack but mostly still there
W 202 saloon , mostly complete
W124 230E saloon , complete but rusty
W124 coupe , wheels removed , still otherwise complete ( down to bonnet star ! ) , Almandine Red / cloth interior - car sat on top of it

2x A Class - front ends cut away/engines removed
W210 E240 estate , nautic blue , wheels removed but substantially complete
